ArtLoupe emails a receipt to the buyer and a prepaid FedEx shipping label to the artist.

The artist packages and ships artwork at any FedEx drop-off location, and ArtLoupe emails the buyer, confirming shipment and providing a FedEx tracking number.

ArtLoupe tracks the package, records official delivery confirmation and allows the buyer three business days in which to request a return and full refund as part of ArtLoupe’s Shipping & Sales Support service. Following the return request period, ArtLoupe deposits payment directly into the artist’s PayPal account.

Your satisfaction, our highest priority

ArtLoupe offers a 100% money back guarantee on the purchase price of all artwork sold directly through ArtLoupe. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us within three business days of delivery of the artwork.

Following receipt of your return request, ArtLoupe will email you a prepaid return shipping label. Repackage the artwork in the original packing material, affix the prepaid return shipping label and deliver to any FedEx drop-off location within three business days of the date printed on the prepaid return shipping label provided by ArtLoupe. The purchase price of the artwork, excluding the ArtLoupe Shipping & Sales Support fee you were charged when purchasing the artwork, will be fully refunded to you within seven business days of confirmation of return delivery to the artist.

ArtLoupe Shipping & Sales Support fees are not refundable. This helps protect artists and buyers alike, and is the reason ArtLoupe is able to offer exceptional, hands-on sales support service.

FAQ

How do purchases, billing and shipping work?

ArtLoupe facilitates secure, in-app purchases via credit card, using industry-leading payment processor PayPal. ArtLoupe accepts payment via MasterCard, Visa, American Express and PayPal.

A fee covering shipping via FedEx and ArtLoupe sales support is added to the cost of each artwork. The amount of this fee is based on the size category of the artwork as determined by dimensions provided by the artist during the upload process. This fee is the responsibility of the buyer and is itemized and added to the final purchase price at checkout.

Artists are immediately notified of sales via push notification on their mobile phone, and within 48 hours of the sale ArtLoupe emails a prepaid shipping label to the artist complete with a tracking number for shipping via FedEx. Artists have up to three business days after the date marked on their prepaid shipping label to package their artwork and deliver it to any FedEx drop-off location.

ArtLoupe emails confirmation to the buyer and artist when shipping has begun, providing shipping confirmation and a FedEx tracking number the buyer and artist may use to monitor the progress of their package.

ArtLoupe tracks the package, records official delivery confirmation from FedEx and allows the buyer up to three business days after delivery confirmation of their purchased artwork to request a return and refund (the “Return Period”). Within three business days after the expiration of the Return Period, ArtLoupe issues payment to the artist via direct deposit to the artist’s registered PayPal account.

See ArtLoupe’s Terms of Use for more information on purchasing, billing, shipping and refund policies.

Does ArtLoupe charge a commission on the sale of artworks?

Yes. ArtLoupe’s commission fee is 10% of the purchase price of the artwork. This amount is retained by ArtLoupe when releasing payment to the artist upon the completion of the sale via PayPal.

What are the fees for shipping and sales support?

A fee covering shipping via FedEx and ArtLoupe sales support is added to the cost of each artwork at checkout. This fee is automatically calculated based on the size category of the artwork as determined by dimensions provided by the artist. This fee is the responsibility of the buyer and is itemized in the final purchase price at checkout.

Do I have to use FedEx to ship/receive my artwork?

At this time, FedEx is the only shipping carrier used by ArtLoupe. Artworks shipped by any other carrier are not supported by our sales support system and do not qualify for ArtLoupe’s 100% satisfaction guarantee.

What if the final shipping cost of my artwork exceeds the amount provided by the prepaid FedEx shipping label?

Final shipping costs vary widely due to factors in including the size, weight, and girth of the package, point of origin and final shipping zone. ArtLoupe Shipping & Sales Support Rates are calculated and periodically updated to accommodate this variance in most instances. With each artwork purchase, the Shipping & Sales Support fee is automatically determined by ArtLoupe based on the size category of the artwork as determined by dimensions provided by the artist during the upload process. This fee is the responsibility of the buyer and is itemized and added to the final purchase price at checkout. In instances in which the final shipping costs exceed the amount automatically determined by ArtLoupe, the difference (overage) is the responsibility of the artist and is deducted from ArtLoupe’s payment to the artist at the end of the transaction.

Do ArtLoupe listings syndicated to Etsy, eBay or other platforms qualify for ArtLoupe shipping and sales support?

artist-easel-phone-syndicationArtists may use ArtLoupe to syndicate their artwork listings to select third-party social media and sales platforms such as Etsy, eBay, Facebook, Google+ and others. ArtLoupe does not charge any fees whatsoever, listing fees, commissions or other, on artworks syndicated to or sold on any 3rd party websites or platforms. Postings on all 3rd party platforms are the responsibility of the artist and are subject to the rules, restrictions and sales procedures of each individual platform.
